NMTZ's Alliance Charter

Our purpose
Namtz'aar K'in is a Minmatar-based multi-racial alliance dedicated to the defense of Minmatar and Gallente regions against criminals, usurpers, and enemies of freedom. We work for the freedom and safety of all the people, but not at any cost; we condemn unprovoked attacks on civilians and neutral parties [whom are not obvious spy alts].

Our governing form
The alliance is led by the alliance executor together with high command officers (military, diplomatic and logistic). The high command is selected and advised by the Alliance Council, consisting of representatives from all corporations.

The council works by discussing and seeking consensus; it does not vote. Each corporation decides on its council representatives by a method of its own choosing.

Should a member corporation take issue with any alliance policy or with another member corporation, the matter will be brought to the alliance council and high command to find resolution.

Duties and rights
Policies, rulings, and standing orders of the alliance high command (including but not limited to Rules of Engagement, alliance's non-aggression pacts, guidelines on military operations and public appearances) must be observed by all pilots. Participation in alliance operations by member pilots is strongly encouraged.
Outside of these constraints, member corporations of the alliance remain independent in their internal operations.

The OOC law
We are a roleplaying-friendly alliance. Members who do not RP are welcome, but are asked to respect those who do and to stay RP-compatible on the alliance chat and in forums marked as IC. All decisions and policies of the alliance must have an RP-compatible justification.

NMTZ's Engagement Policy
Namtz'aar K'in pilots are authorized to engage in combat in the following situations:
in self-defense

to stop a criminal act (including but not limited to piracy, murder, efforts to close up Minmatar or Gallente space, and transport of slaves)

with pilots belonging to corporations who as a whole or whose members conduct criminal acts (see above) with war targets.

If you think you have been wrongfully attacked by a NMTZ pilot, please post on their forums or contact primary diplomat privately. We take all reports of breaches of this policy extremely seriously. Be warned though that usually the reason is that your corporation mates have been engaging in criminal activity in our protected areas, in which case there is nothing we can do to guarantee your safety.
